Halliday Partners with DeFi Kingdoms

Today, we’re thrilled to announce a partnership with DeFi Kingdoms to power the core player onboarding experience and enable future gameplay features.

DeFi Kingdoms, a fantasy RPG, is one of the oldest and most successful games to ever be launched on a blockchain, and we can’t wait to bring our technology to its players. The game’s beautiful pixel-art style has attracted thousands of daily active users to the platform dating back all the way to 2021 (a lifetime in Web3 Gaming), and it has consistently ranked at or near the top of games in the industry, regardless of blockchain or genre. Today, it’s the biggest game on Avalanche.

Throughout our conversations with the DeFi Kingdoms team over the past few months, we’ve been inspired by the passion they have for their mission: creating a fun game that also educates its players about Web3 in the process. They’ve been working to bring the next billion users onto Web3 since way before it was cool! And now, in the middle of a Web3 Winter, their player base has rewarded them with as much engagement as ever, averaging nearly half a million daily transactions.

Partnership Details

Players will soon be able to log in to their DeFi Kingdoms account with social accounts. New users will automatically be granted a secure Halliday Smart Contract Wallet to store game assets, increasing accessibility for those new to Web3. In addition, players won’t have to deal with signing every on-chain transaction, like questing or summoning heroes. No more wallet signature pop-ups distracting you from your gameplay!
